Free Choice #1 The Secret To Doing Homework

Hey Guys!

I really sorry this post is super late. However I'm pretty confident that it will help you guys out. So, let's get started!

I know some of you have a lot of homework, sports after school, possibly have to take a shower at night.  Today I'm going to show you The Secret To Doing Homework.

Be Prepared:

You need to have a "homework basket". Some things you could put it the basket:
  • makers
  • pencils
  • colored pencils
  • scissors
  • glue
  • tape
  • pencil sharpener
  • erasers
  • a stapler
  • lined and blank paper
That should be about it.

Go To A Quiet and Non-Distracting Place:
This is really important that you do this.
You should go to a quiet and non-distracting place.
Also, take any electronics (or items that distract you) to a different room.

Speaking of a room, you should go to a quiet place. And notify anyone in the house that you are doing homework.

Give Yourself A Treat:

Who doesn't like a treat after doing something?

Recommended Books #1 North of Nowhere

Hey Guys!

Welcome to my first post on a book I recommend to you!

So the first book is called North of Nowhere.

The sleepy seaside village of Porthaven hides a mystery: Mia’s grandad has vanished, and nobody knows why. When Mia and her mom rush to Porthaven to help her grandmother, Mia imagines long dreary days with no one to talk to except for the old-time fisherman at her grandparents’ pub. But that’s before Mia finds a diary on an empty, docked fishing boat and starts exchanging notes with a local girl named Dee, a girl who seems much like her. Mia is excited about having a new friend, but why do their plans to meet each other never materialize? And why does Dee claim to be stuck at home due to violent storms when Mia sees only sunny skies? Will Mia be able to solve the mystery of where — and when — her grandfather and friend might be before time and tide forever wash away their futures?

I got that from this website. To check it out click here.

The website rates it about 4 stars. I say that it's 4 and a half stars.

I've always liked mystery books and this is just perfect if you are the same.

Here is what the book looks like:

It's by Liz Kessler.

I pretty sure I covered everything.

642 Things To Write #1

Hello!

I'm super sorry for such a irregular posting time today. I was over at my dad's house and the internet wasn't working. However, I did take some pictures (as promised) of Hugo!

He's a red footed tortoise/

Okay So let's get to the main part of this post!

This is the book I was talking about. I wanted to show you just to let you know that I'm not the one coming up with these writing warm ups. And I will twist them a bit. So I would just like to show you the amazing authors of this book:

So... Random page!

You are in a department store in another city, and you see one of your teachers weeping. Write the scene.

I was walking down the rowdy street to the department store to grab some milk. Hayden's Department Store was it's name. I walked into the door with the sound of a bell dinging. The cashier greeted me,"Hello! Welcome!." I nodded. I went over to the dairy section. I heard weeping. I was confused because the voice sounded familiar yet unaccustomed. I walked over to the area where I was hearing it from. I peered around the corner to find my E.L.A. teacher crying. Now, I really dislike getting into one of this situations where I feel like I'm being to nosy but I don't want to be rude. I walked over to her. She looked up at me with her mascara running down her face. I sat down next to her and asked what happened. She sobbing, said, "Oh, it's nothing." She wiped her nose. "Well, it must be something. Do you want to talk about it?" I asked questioningly. She talked to me about it. And I really wish I never asked her about it. My teacher told me about... HER RELATIONSHIP! Oh no! Ugh..why? Out of all things in the world it had to be my E.L.A. teacher, today, that hour, that minuet. I knew she was starting to feel better though. After she was finished talking about her long lost Romeo, she hugged me and said, "Thanks, you really helped." And walked away. I got up stretching and walked to the dairy section once again. Grabbed my milk, payed and walked home. I put the milk away. Then I jumped into my bed and said, "I better get an A in that class."

I hoped you guys liked that. It took a while to write. Alright I hope your satisfied. What would you do if that happened to you?

My Week Summed Up 1#

Hello!

Welcome to another post.

Anyways according to my scheduled post, today is my week summed up.

So this week was my spring break. It flew by so fast! I really didn't do much, except for editing and keeping up on the blog. We really did not do much cause we didn't go anywhere. I do know that we are going to this antique place today. I really excited because then I can take pictures for the blog.
We also have this tortoise that keeps on trying to go suicide. He flips upside down in his water bowl.

Yea... so now we are going to take him outside! Yay! I'll take some pictures for you guys. He's really tiny and cute.

Sense I didn't do much this week I think I'll through in some more stuff on this post.

On my free topic Tuesday I will be talking about how to get your homework done fast.

Oh and how did you guys like the Movie Post? I thought it was OK. I will just add some things next post.

Well, sorry if this was a short post. I don't do much.

Ok Bye!

Updates!

Hi Everyone!

I hope you like the new blog background! I found it on a website called The Cutest Blog on The Block.

It has a wide variety of templates, backgrounds and banners!

Wow it's late.

Anyways, please tell me if you have an issue or it's too difficult to read the blog. I can fix it for you.

I also made it that it shows the posts I made today on one page, and yesterday would be back one page.

Got it?

Hope it isn't too confusing!

Movie Friday

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to another post. Today's post is going to be about a movie that I LOVE!

So let's get started!

The move is called, "Spirited Away" you may of heard it before. It's from a different country made by Hayo Miyazaki

Here is a picture of the front:

One of the big reasons on why I like this movie is because it has such imaginative things going on. If
you like fantasy and adventure, this is for you.

I don't think it's on Netflix for the simple reason that it's from a different country. I don't know.

On Rotten Tomatoes, (a very good site for looking at movie ratings) has it as

5 Stars

Here is a summary of the movie:

Tale of the fanciful adventures of a ten-year-old girl named Chihiro, who discovers a secret world when she and her family get lost and venture through a hillside tunnel. When her parents undergo a mysterious transformation, Chihiro must fend for herself as she encounters strange spirits, assorted creatures and a grumpy sorceress who seeks to prevent her from returning to the human world.
I got that by Google btw.

The age group thing is PG13.

So I hope this is an OK post about Movie Friday!

If you have any questions comment them down below!

Thanks!
